The East Africa Youth Awards (EAYA) is the region’s premier platform established in 2023 to identify, celebrate, and elevate the trailblazers shaping the next era of our continent young leaders, innovators, creators, entrepreneurs, and changemakers across all 8 EAC Partner States: Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan, the DRC, and Somalia.
Backed by the East African Community (EAC) Secretariat, EAYA stands as the official movement rewriting the story of youth empowerment, regional unity, and transformative progress.
We believe the youth are not simply the beneficiaries of development
they are its trailblazers, leading the way into a bold and prosperous future.
